Plenty of vehicles do not need eight channels, AI or a recorder. They need the driver to see behind when reversing, and that is the whole job of the P1. A 7-inch IPS screen pairs with one starlight HD camera, the screen switches to the camera the moment reverse is selected, and that is it. Easy to fit with an aviation connector, easy to use because there is nothing to learn.
The camera is a 170-degree starlight unit sealed to IP68, so it holds a usable full-colour picture at night and survives rain and washing. It is the entry point to the range: the cleanest, cheapest way to put a reverse view in a cab, and the screen takes more cameras later if the vehicle grows into them.
Wire the reverse trigger and the screen wakes to the rear camera the instant the driver selects reverse, then steps aside when they pull away. It is the one behaviour a reversing aid has to get right, and there is nothing else to operate.
The starlight sensor keeps a full-colour picture in low light rather than a grainy grey one, across a 170-degree view that covers the width behind the body. The IP68 seal keeps it working through weather and the wash bay.
An aviation connector keeps the install simple and the signal steady, and the monitor runs on a wide 9 to 36V so it suits a car or a heavy truck. When the vehicle needs more eyes later, the screen takes additional cameras rather than being replaced.
