Not every vehicle needs four or eight cameras. A pickup, an RV or a van often just wants a clear forward and reverse view, a warning when someone is in the way, and a recording if anything happens. The H2-BSD does exactly that with two 1080P cameras and a 7-inch screen, and it adds the safety layer the plain backup kits leave out.
The blind-spot detection watches the camera view and draws a red box around a person the instant they enter it, with a beeper to back it up, so the driver is told rather than left to spot it. Underneath, loop recording keeps recent footage on the card, and park mode keeps watching while the vehicle is left. For RVs, fifth wheels and trucks that come pre-wired, the adapters keep the install to a minimum of drilling.
When a person steps into the camera’s view the system highlights them with a red box on the screen and sounds a beeper, so the warning is visual and audible at once. It turns the camera from something the driver has to be watching into something that calls out for attention.
Two 1080P cameras cover the forward and reverse views at a 170-degree spread, with low-light full colour so the picture stays useful after dark rather than dropping to grey. The IP68 sealing keeps them working through rain and washing.
For RVs, fifth wheels, trucks, vans and pickups that already carry pre-wiring, the adapters let the system go in with little drilling. Loop recording and park mode come as standard, and the whole unit is light at 380 grams.
