Four wide-angle IP68 cameras mount front, rear and both sides, and the 10.1-inch touchscreen shows them together or one at a time. On top of the plain view sits a BSD algorithm that picks out a pedestrian moving toward the vehicle from any of those positions and raises a 90-decibel alert, which is loud enough to land over engine noise and a busy yard.
The cameras are wired rather than wireless, on aviation-grade locking connectors, so the signal holds steady through vibration without the dropouts a radio link can have around metal and machinery. Mounting is flexible: stick the monitor to the dash or screw it to the cab roof, and run the cameras where the body needs them.
The blind-spot algorithm watches the camera view for a person approaching from the front, the side or the rear, and triggers an audible alarm the driver cannot miss. It turns a passive camera, which only helps if someone is looking, into an active warning at the moment a turn or a reverse puts someone at risk.
Each camera sits in an aluminium-alloy housing rated IP68, resistant to high heat, hard cold and water, so the picture stays clear whether the vehicle works a summer quarry or a winter route. The 720P starlight sensors hold colour and detail in low light at a 170-degree spread.
Aviation-grade metal connectors keep the wired signal solid against road vibration, and the system records all four channels in 1080P with loop recording onto a TF card up to 256GB or USB up to 512GB. Mount the screen on the dash or overhead, whichever the cab allows.
