Fixed cameras force a choice at install: point it down for the kerb, or out for the lane, and live with the compromise. The DC806S rotates a full 360 degrees in its housing, so the installer dials in the exact angle the vehicle needs, and a fleet stocks one part for the rear, the side and the front instead of three. There are no spacers or wedge brackets to get the aim right.
It is a full-colour starlight camera, holding colour in low light rather than dropping to grey, with fisheye correction that trims the warp a wide lens introduces so straight lines stay straight. It outputs CVBS or AHD on an RCA lead for almost any screen, and the IP68 seal keeps water and dust out across a -20 to 75°C range.
The rotating mount means the picture is level and aimed right whatever surface it bolts to, which on a sloped or awkward mounting point is the difference between a usable view and a wasted camera. One SKU covers the rear, a side blind spot or a forward angle.
The starlight sensor keeps a full-colour image in low light, and fisheye correction pulls the wide view back toward natural geometry so the driver judges distance without the funhouse bend of a raw wide lens. The 120 to 170 degree angle still covers the width the body needs.
Selectable CVBS or AHD output on an RCA lead works with radios, DVD players and OEM navigators across cars, pickups, trucks and buses, and the IP68 housing is sealed for the weather. Custom cable lengths suit anything from a car to a lorry.
